Slightly to moderately higher import prices

Compared to the last market test, beef import prices in the USA were slightly to moderately higher. Trading was slow to moderate. Strong demand in the lead up to the Independence Day holiday last weekend and stronger domestic prices continued to support import values, according to the USDA weekly report.
