Normal trade flows with Chile
Despite some challenging weather in recent days due to snowfall, the Los Andes border crossing remained fluid. A trader told WBR that Chile’s purchase prices have shown “prolonged stability,” with references at US$/t 6,000–6,150 for the 19-cut set from Brazil, while Paraguay remains slightly higher at US$/t 6,200–6,300. “Maybe in two or three weeks the market could show firmer signs,” he estimated.
