Export volume down 21% so far this year

In the first five months of 2025, shipments totaled around 250,400 tons (product weight), down 20.6% from the same period in 2024. However, the US$ 1.262 billion in export revenue from January to May 2025 was 4.9% higher than in the same period last year. The average price of US$ 5,041 per ton was 32% above that of the previous year.

In the 12-month period from June 2024 to May 2025, total exports reached approximately 705,000 tons (product weight) worth US$ 3.088 billion.
