In three months, Brazil’s average beef export price rose 12%
The upward trend in the average export price of Brazilian beef remained steady during the second week of June, nearing US$ 5,500 per ton shipment weight.
The average FOB price hit a low of US$/t 4,862 in the second week of March; three months later, in the week ending June 14, it stood at US$/t 5,465, an increase of US$ 603 per ton (12%) in just three months.
Brazil maintained a strong export pace in the first two weeks of June, shipping 117,246 tons at a daily rate of 10,604 tons.
According to Agrifatto, June exports are projected to reach around 234,000 tons—more than 40,000 tons above the same month last year.
