Export value up 31% so far in 2025

Export prices for chilled and frozen beef in April averaged US$ 5,068 per tonne, 6.5% higher than in March and 35.5% above April 2024.

In the first four months of the year, the average value reached US$ 4,928, up 31% year-on-year. This increase was driven by a 21% rise in boneless chilled beef to US$ 9,833 per tonne, and especially by boneless frozen beef, which reached US$ 4,918 per tonne—up 34% year-on-year for the four-month period.
