Except for “Chinese cows,” export cattle prices are firming
Export cattle values rose by Ar$ 100–200 per kilo carcass weight. The best British breed steers moved up to Ar$ 5,000–5,150, while steers with Zebu influence advanced to Ar$ 4,800–5,000 per kilo.
Good cows showed the sharpest increase, now around Ar$ 4,000–4,200. By contrast, the so called “Chinese cows” saw their top prices squeezed, now trading at Ar$ 3,000–3,300 per kilo carcass weight.
