Uruguay to showcase beef at Anuga 2025 with strong industry delegation

From October 4 to 8, the city of Cologne will host Anuga, one of the world’s leading food and beverage fairs.

The National Meat Institute (INAC), a regular participant for over 40 years, will present a 660 m² stand, featuring a restaurant where visitors can taste Uruguayan beef.

The Uruguayan delegation is led by INAC President Gastón Scayola, joined by board members Eduardo Urgal and Joaquín Martinicorena, Marketing Manager Josefina Valenti, Market Access Manager Álvaro Pereira, and Promotion specialists Cecilia Shaw and María Paula Martínez.

The stand will host 15 co-exhibiting plants along with nearly 15 Uruguayan companies from the sector, bringing the total delegation to around 80 participants. On October 6, INAC will hold its traditional reception at the Rheinterrassen, offering Uruguayan beef and providing an update on the country’s status regarding the EU Deforestation Regulation.

This year’s Anuga will gather more than 8,000 exhibitors across 300,000 square meters, with over 140,000 professional visitors expected from 200 countries.
