Export cattle prices remained broadly unchanged. Higher-quality British-bred steers were quoted at Ar$7,900-8,000/kg carcass weight, while crossbred cattle with Zebu genetics held at Ar$7,500-7,700/kg.
Top-quality cows eligible for the European Union market remained at Ar$6,100-6,500/kg carcass weight. Meanwhile, "China cows" destined for manufacturing and processing beef gained another Ar$100/kg at the upper end of the range, finishing at Ar$4,800-5,500/kg carcass weight.
