Russia is Paraguay's main market for beef offal, followed by Taiwan and Brazil.
According to Senacsa data, Paraguay exported 4,233 tons of beef offal to Russia during the first half of the year at an average value of US$ 1,905 per ton.
In volume terms, Brazil and Egypt followed with 2,933 tons and 2,023 tons, respectively. However, in terms of export revenue, both were surpassed by Taiwan, which imported 1,695 tons of these products for US$ 6.8 million, compared with US$ 4.6 million for Brazil and US$ 3.3 million for Egypt.
