Prices for cattle destined for slaughter remained unchanged over the past week. The industry maintained its price grid, with list prices at US$ 4.20 per kilo carcass weight for standard males and US$ 3.90 per kilo for cows. Some major plants are currently inactive until the first days of January and are scheduling slaughter bookings from January 9 onward.
