Export steer prices held at the levels reached a couple of weeks ago. The main factor of volatility in values expressed in dollars is the fluctuation of the exchange rate. The best-quality fat steers, crossbred with British breeds, continued to trade in the range of Ar$ 6,000 to 6,100 per kilo carcass weight, while zebu crossbreeds ranged from Ar$ 5,900 to 6,000.
