Sheepmeat business with MENA

Countries in the MENA region continue to show interest in closing deals for sheepmeat from Uruguay. An intermediary reported sales last week of lamb carcasses at US$/t 6,000 CFR and six-cut mutton at US$/t 5,200. There were also deals for lamb cuts such as bone-in leg at US$/t 6,100, shank at US$/t 6,000, neck at US$/t 4,400, and bone-in striploin with tenderloin at US$/t 6,100.
