Excellent offal prices in June, particularly tongues

Exports of beef offal and preparations totaled 9,200 tons in June, worth US$ 19.4 million. Average prices rose across all products, reaching US$ 2,120 per ton. The standout product was tongues, whose exports grew 222% month-on-month, driven by an average price of US$ 4,048, 16% higher than the previous month. Russia was the main destination.
