Chile keeps buying
The Chilean import market is starting to test the price range for purchases ahead of September’s national holidays, with most cargoes usually booked in July and August. A Chilean importer said last week’s prices were unchanged: US$/t 6,100 for 19–20 cut packs from Brazil and US$/t 6,300 for Paraguayan product. A Paraguayan exporter told WBR he closed early week business one notch higher, at US$/t 6,500 CFR.
