Sheep slaughter rises again
Sheep slaughter increased once more. INAC reported that 20,521 head were processed in the week ending October 18, 3,428 more (+20%) than the previous week, though 4% below the same week a year earlier. Lambs totaled 12,475, virtually unchanged week-to-week, meaning growth came mainly from adult categories.
