Very short bookings and minimal supply at year-end

Expectations that the market would tilt in favor of demand because of lower slaughter activity in the final two weeks of the year did not materialize. Supply is extremely limited, leading to sharply reduced bookings, and many plants are showing strong interest in securing cattle.
