Prices improve in Chile
Chile’s import market is showing recovery as the backlog of unpaid contracts shrinks, an importer said. Prices are firming: Brazilian deals for the 19/20 cuts were done at US$/t 6,100-6,200, and Paraguayan at US$/t 6,300-6,400, although shipments arriving now are US$/t 200-300 below those marks.
