Fed cattle prices moved sharply higher again last week, with early sales at US$/cwt 260 quickly replaced by midweek deals at US$/cwt 265 live across all regions and US$/cwt 410 dressed. Those levels were already US$/cwt 5–7 above the previous week, but the market moved even further by week’s end, with packers paying up to US$/cwt 415 dressed in the north, according to The AG Center.
