Export cattle prices showing upside potential
Prices for export-oriented cattle are showing renewed upward momentum. British-breed cross steers of higher carcass quality have been trading around AR$ 7,700–7,900 per kg carcass, with some sources indicating up to AR$ 8,000 for top-quality lots from regular suppliers. Zebu-cross steers are trading at around AR$ 7,400–7,700 per kg carcass.
