Sheep slaughter reaches highest level since February
Sheep slaughter rose by 4,706 head in the week ending October 11, reaching the highest volume since late February, according to INAC. A total of 17,093 sheep were processed. Although higher than the previous week, the figure was 28% lower than the same week last year. Lambs accounted for 12,491 head, or 73% of the total.
