BRF confident avian flu crisis will end soon

During the BRF PADS (Sustainable Development Action Plan) event, company executives expressed optimism about a near-term end to the avian flu-related disruptions in the market. CEO Miguel Gularte stated that the company has reinforced its biosecurity protocols and that the outbreak is currently under control.

According to Gularte, the presence of avian influenza in Brazil has been limited to isolated cases in wild birds, with no direct impact on commercial poultry production. He also emphasized that exports remain unaffected and that BRF continues to fully comply with the requirements of international markets. The company expects a gradual normalization of market conditions and is betting on a recovery in global demand over the coming months, particularly in Asia and the Middle East.
