Sheep slaughter also rises

Sheep slaughter totaled 10,235 head in the first week of June, nearly doubling the volume from the previous week (5,334). The most active plants were: Las Piedras (3,995 head), Frigocerro (3,736), and Oferan (2,127). The most slaughtered category was ewes (5,050), followed by lambs (4,138).
