Anuga faces its largest edition in history

With around 8,000 exhibitors from 110 countries and a gross exhibition area of about 290,000 m², Anuga 2025 aims to be the largest edition in the event’s history. From October 4 to 8, the German city of Cologne will once again become the world capital of the food industry and the meeting point for more than 140,000 trade visitors from nearly 200 countries, with 94% of them coming from abroad.

The countries with the largest number of exhibitors are Italy, Spain, China, Germany, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, and the United States. In total, 174 stands from 78 countries will showcase their portfolios. The five largest pavilions alone—those of Istanbul, China, Italy, Spain, and the U.S.—cover up to 6,000 square meters.

“Anuga is much more than just a trade fair: it is a marketplace, a source of inspiration, and a benchmark for the global food industry. The brightest minds in the sector gather in Cologne to present innovations and discuss future trends. In this way, the future of food becomes visible here and, at the same time, negotiable,” said Gerald Böse, president and CEO of Koelnmesse GmbH.

As in the last 20 years’ editions, World Beef Report will once again be present at Anuga from Cologne, providing extensive coverage throughout the five days of the exhibition.
