Vietnam has authorized two additional Brazilian beef plants to export to the Asian market. The newly approved facilities belong to Naturafrig in Pirapozinho, São Paulo, and Sulbeef in Aparecida do Taboado, Mato Grosso do Sul.
With these approvals, Brazil now has 12 beef plants authorized to export to Vietnam, distributed among five corporate groups. The list includes four JBS plants, four Minerva plants, two MBRF plants, and the two newly approved facilities. Vietnam opened its market to Brazilian beef in March 2025.
According to industry sources, nearly 100 additional Brazilian facilities have already submitted the required documentation and are awaiting approval from Vietnamese authorities. The market is estimated to have potential demand of around 300,000 tons per year.
In a separate development, access for Brazilian poultry exports to South Korea was also expanded. The number of approved poultry plants increased from 45 to 54, while the number of authorized cold storage facilities rose from nine to ten.
