The Brazilian government authorized new exports of meat and agricultural products to the Philippines, Cuba and South Korea, expanding access to key markets and diversifying its export portfolio.
In the Philippines, shipments of chilled beef, both bone-in and boneless, were approved, strengthening Brazil’s presence in Southeast Asia and opening opportunities in higher-value segments. The country, with more than 115 million inhabitants, imported over US$ 1.8 billion in Brazilian agricultural products in 2025.
In Cuba, exports of bone-in beef and bone-in pork were authorized, expanding the supply of animal protein in a market of 11 million people and facilitating trade under the pre-listing system.
For South Korea, the opening includes Brazil nuts, baru nuts and cashew nuts, reinforcing diversification with high-value products. With these announcements, Brazil has reached 600 market openings since 2023.
