Cattle slaughter in Mato Grosso totaled 640.04 thousand head in November 2025, a 10.5% monthly decline, reported the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics, based on Indea-MT data. The main factor behind the decrease was the lower supply of finished animals for the industry, especially females, due to the breeding season, which typically occurs in the fourth quarter of the year. The year-on-year increase in female slaughter narrowed to just 8 thousand head (3.4%).
