With expectations of lower Argentine beef production in the last week of the year and early 2026, prices for rump & loin Hilton cuts strengthened for arrivals in weeks 5 to 7. WBR learned that some Argentine plants plan to shut down for around 15 days. According to a European importer, “that factor” caused some concern among buyers, leading to deals closed at US$/t 17,500 FOB for Hilton. Other sources reported rib eye Hilton at US$/t 18,500 and rump & loin at US$/t 17,250.
