Cattle slaughter in Mato Grosso totaled 715.31 thousand head in October 2025, an increase of 9.0% compared with the previous month. In addition, the result exceeded the previous monthly record —set in July 2024— by 3.8%, according to the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea). This record was reached with a relatively moderate share of females in total slaughter, which fell to 39.3% last month. Nonetheless, female slaughter remains 20% higher than last year.
