The upcoming MICA fair in the United States, to be held from November 10 to 12, is generating great anticipation among players in the meat market. “I’ve never seen anything like it,” said a trader interviewed by WBR, who has attended the event since 2005. He noted that “a month and a half before the start, there were already more than 410 registered participants, and attendance is expected to far exceed last year’s record.” Among them are major U.S. food companies participating for the first time, which, in his view, “reflects the potential for growth in imports over the next two years.”
