Firmer beef imported prices

Compared to the last market test, US beef import prices were firm to higher, instances unevenly steady. Trading remained slow. Good demand and stronger domestic prices supported import values. Uncertainty over tariff rates and which trading party will be responsible for paying the increased costs continued to limit some out-front trading, according to the USDA weekly report.
