After two years of negotiations, the Algerian authorities confirmed the approval of the international health certificate authorizing the export of live cattle for slaughter from Uruguay. “This milestone marks a significant step forward in opening markets for Uruguayan livestock and reinforces the country’s position as a reliable supplier of live cattle,” the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries (MGAP) highlighted in a statement.
