With Frigocerro resuming operations, weekly sheep slaughter jumped by more than 7,000 head, or 57%, to 19,365 in the week ended October 31, INAC reported. This was the highest total of the year and the largest since the third week of December 2025. However, it remained 33.2% below the same week last year.
