Uruguay exported 3,301 tons of beef to the European Union in October, down 15% year-on-year. However, a 16.2% increase in average value to US$ 15,174/t limited the revenue decline to 1.2%, with earnings of US$ 50.1 million. The bloc accounted for 13.9% of export volume but 23.9% of revenue.
