Sheep slaughter remained close to the previous week’s level. In the week ended September 12, plants processed 8,287 sheep, 219 fewer than the previous week and 40% below the more than 13,000 head slaughtered in the same period of 2025. Lambs totaled 4,772 head, accounting for 58% of the total.
