A source told World Beef Report (WBR) that, as of September 14, approximately 22,000 tons of the new 100,000-ton US quota available for duty-free entry this month had been used. The volume is part of the 300,000 tons announced by Donald Trump through November in an attempt to reduce US ground beef prices.
