The trade agreement between Mercosur and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) entered into force on November 1 for Uruguay’s trade with Norway and Iceland. In Norway, it also took effect for Brazil, while implementation for Argentina and Paraguay remains pending. Preferences for Switzerland and Liechtenstein are not yet operational.
